HUDSON – Hudson city councilwoman Beth Bigham announced her candidacy today to represent Ohio’s 37th House district.
“It has been an honor to serve and represent the citizens of Hudson on city council,” Bigham said. “During my time on council, I have labored to reduce unnecessary city spending, keep taxes low, and improve transparency and accountability. The voters of the 37th district deserve a representative in Columbus who will advocate for these same conservative principles in the state legislature.”
Bigham has served on city council since 2016. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner with 20 years of healthcare experience. Having also earned her MBA, she is a small business owner. She founded Medical Prophet, LLC in 2015 which focuses on risk mitigation for healthcare-related construction stakeholders.
“Ohio’s 37th district deserves a dedicated leader who will work hard to advance their priorities in Columbus. I am very excited to begin this journey and look forward to representing the great people of the 37th district in the Ohio House of Representatives,” Bigham said. “I am committed to running a campaign everyone can be proud of, highlighting my experience and strong track record in both the private and public sectors.”
Beth lives in Hudson with her husband George and her two children.
